Plasmetex Industries is a Southern California manufacturer specializing in precision thermoset and thermoplastic molding for OEMs across the electronics, transformer, coil, and specialty component industries. Located in San Marcos, CA, we have been a reliable supplier of molded components for decades, producing encapsulating cases, toroid mounts, terminals, and custom-molded parts built to customer specifications.

Our molding capabilities include compression, transfer, injection, and insert molding, enabling us to support a wide range of part designs, performance requirements, and production volumes. We manufacture both standard catalog components and fully custom designs based on customer drawings.

Plasmetex also maintains complete in-house mold making and tooling support. Using CNC machining and both wire and sinker EDM equipmentdedicated strictly to internal toolingwe design, build, maintain, and repair our molds onsite. This allows us to ensure consistent quality, reduce downtime, and maintain tight control over production processes.

We support customers from prototype through high-volume production, providing short-run, mid-volume, and million-piece programs with repeatable output and dependable lead times. Secondary operations include drilling, cut-to-height trimming, post-molding machining, and customized finishing steps as required.
